Hawaiian Islands
Cook called them Sandwich Islands
SPAM came much later

Life is far too short
Time is not to be wasted
Take a chance on love

We have fifty states
Some are difficult to spell
Never use a Q

Vacation is near
You must remember your trunk,
says the pachyderm

Poor insomniacs
Sleep will always escape you
Just like free range sheep

Please don’t play “Chopsticks”
Your audience with thank you
They’ve heard it before.

Big man on campus
Letter jacket worn with pride
Do not peak too soon

Auger through the ice
Drop a baited hook and wait
Fish in your shanty

The zebra has stripes
Obviously black and white
No, they’re not subtle.
