My old glasses cause eye strain

Extra inning game
No runs after nine innings
One wins it in ten
Humility
Humility is out of fashion
“Me first!” has become the passion
Being last has lost some luster
“I’m a winner!” proclaimed with bluster
But as you go about your day
Maybe take some time to pray
When you approach that pearly gate
You’re last in line, won’t need to wait
