Sunshine melts the snow
Sun sets and the cold returns
Dark skies are coldest

Wet snow falling fast
Superintendent fretting
School buses won’t roll

There was no school today because a wet snow fell right about time for the buses to leave the garage. We didn’t get much snow and it was not bitter cold.
